Float
For this project the prompt was to design a
piece to submit to the RoGuiltlessPlastics
competition in the category of
Urban and Public Design.
RoGuiltlessPlastics design prompt was that
“creatives will have to design prototypes and/or
works for use in urban and public spaces”. For
that I decided to gear towards creating a piece
of outdoor sports equipment that could also
work as a playground structure.
Fun for the whole family, Float is an outdoor
climbing wall for both children and adults.
Float is a multi-piece rotomolded climbing
wall made from recycled plastic and
reinforced with a center metal beam.
Seven feet and twelve feet tall respectively,
the two towers of Float are inspired by
disposable water bottles and their effects on
todays oceans.
